BFRC Ltd is the operation of a UK national rating system for the thermal performance of fenestration products. The rating system is recognised within building regulations throughout the UK (see more on www.bfrc.org).

Energy Rating compares different products on the basis of same reference window: 1 230 x 1 480 mm window with central mullion, fixed light on one side and casement on the other side. As a result customer will get the energy consumption ± kWh/m²/year.

Viking Window has joined with BM TRADA's energy rating scheme (see Certification page). Timber has naturally good thermal performance. Our windows have been tested to air tightness. We supply energy efficient glazing units. Therefore we can achieve good results regarding energy consumption.
