As a rule the standard size window 1.23 m x 1.48 m must achieve U-value 0.80 W/m²K or better in case of glazing Ug = 0.70 W/m²K used.
Note: U-value (0.60 – 1.2) indicates thermal transmittance of window. Smaller value equals better thermal insulation.
